He graduated from high school, and then a short time worked as a car mechanic. He served in the Soviet army.

In 1971-1975 he studied in madrasah "Mir-Arab" in Bukhara, then continued studies at the Islamic Institute. Imam al-Bukhari, from which he graduated in 1979 with a degree "Imam-Khatib, theologian".

In 1979-1983 worked as an Executive Secretary of domes. In this post he combined with his studies at the Institute of "Islamic call", Damascus, Syria (1980-1982) soon became the first Imam-Khatib of the Cathedral mosque of Ufa, having served in that position for 9 years.
